A garden with epiphytes plants linen tubes contrast with Landes pine
tree garden. These two gardens similarly shaped appear differently according
to the natural light. In the evening as the pine trunks become almost
invisible, the epiphytes plant tubes turn into light.
Epiphytes are plants which grow above the ground surface, using other
plants or objects for support. They are not rooted in the soil nor are
they parasitic. By growing on other plants, the epiphytes can reach
positions where the lightis better or where they can avoid competition
for light. |
