Space and sensory configuration : Different physical characteristics of the place, the place's scale, materials, colours, temperature, degree of moisture, sounds, odours.. Situation : The physical and sensory situation of someone in the place. It is composed not only of the whole place's characteristics but also of someone's feeling. Disposition : Someone's degree of awareness of the place. For example, if someone is afraid, one is aware to try to seize the whole characteristics of the place and to reassure. If one is lost, one is straining to locate and find one's way. On the contrary, one is not paying attention, when one is doing something that requires a special concentration. Trigger : What happens because of the place configuration. Moment : What is and is not felt by someone at that moment. |
Rather than being a space, a park can be considered as moments. Moments in which someone is in contact with nature, or something that represent nature ... Imagining a park is to imagine special moments, and then sensory and space configurations, which allow reaching these moments. In order to reach these moments of contact with nature, we have determined a whole range of essential tools necessary to the description of one moment. |
